The Mermaid Home is a classic ground level Captiva cottage with a romantic tin roof. It has a very private screened and heated pool surrounded by flowering bougainvillea, hibiscus and coconut palm trees. The beach and bay are a minute or two walk from the house.

The house sleeps up to 6 guests with a king bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest room, and a queen sleeper in the living room. All linens are included. Both bedrooms have cable Sony TVs. There are two new fantastic fully tiled baths, each with showers big enough for two. The kitchen is also new with all appliances and accessories needed for entertaining the family. A laundry room with new washer & dryer is attached.

The living room has a cable remote TV and an Onkyo stereo with CD changer and Infinity speakers. Double French doors open dramatically to the pool. The pool area and 2 screened porches are totally furnished. A Weber gas grill makes cooking at home easy.

The house is equipped with central a/c, internet ports and even a fax machine. Men's and ladies' 7-speed aluminum bikes, fishing equipment, and all beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are provided.
