Give your family a vacation to remember at our comfortable Michigan vacation rental cottage! Located on Jose Lake, this is a 129 acre all sports lake in South Branch on the eastern "sunrise side" of the state. Our Michigan cottage has been completely remodeled from top to bottom including new flooring and brand new kitchen cabinets.  Outside, relax and enjoy the view on the huge new 30 x 16 foot deck that spans the entire width of this Michigan cabin. Located on 60 feet of lake frontage complete with a private dock, guests can bring and tie up their boats and personal watercraft right here!
The living room, kitchen and sunporch are all one spacious open room. There is a television (with Dish network to enjoy 65 channels including local programming),  DVD / VCR players,  combination radio, CD player, and a phone for local calls only. The kitchen offers all of the comforts including a refrigerator, sink, range (oven) along with a microwave,  coffee pot and utensils. Your lakefront Michigan vacation home offers two bedrooms, each furnished with a full sized bed, and one full bathroom.  An inviting day bed has a twin size mattress and another twin mattress pulls out from underneath. Including the day bed and additional twin mattress, our lakefront cabin sleeps up to six. Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided for your comfort. Please bring your own linens and towels.
If you enjoy Michigan fishing and golfing, this is your place. Jose Lake is well stocked for fishermen with small and large mouth bass, bluegill and walleye. Nearby is the mighty AuSable River, considered one of America's premier rivers for canoeing, tubing and fishing.  If you want to go out on the big lake, majestic Lake Huron is close by as well, and there are plenty of Lake Huron charter fishing boats available for a half or a full day charter. Nearby are a number of excellent Michigan golf courses including some of the top Michigan golf courses in the state.  The nearby Huron National Forest attracts many visitors for bird and wildlife watching. Hikers, mountain bikers and ORV riders are offered wonderful trails.  Iargo Springs, is on the River Road Scenic Byway. Considered a holy place by native Americans, it offers a breathtaking view of the AuSable River Valley from a 30' high observation deck.  At Canoer's Memorial, there is a high bank viewing spot, perfect for observing bald eagles.
